Posted in on 24th May 2021
The University of Liverpool are looking for an outstanding individual to undertake a three-year Research Fellowship to work on Enceph-IG. You will support the Chief Investigator, Professor Tom Solomon, and the trial team with the development of the detailed protocols and case record forms, establish the clinical procedures, and be readily available to answer queries and talk centres through recruitment of patients, advising on collection, processing and handling of samples. You will be based at the University of Liverpool, but you will be expected to visit study centres around the UK occasionally to support site setup and patient recruitment. You will be expected to interact with a wide range of disciplines, have good communication skills and have expertise or training that will allow you to set up and run a clinical study. There will be potential to become involved in mechanistic aspects of the study, including opportunities to develop laboratory skills.
You will be trainees in Adult or Paediatric Neurology or another appropriate discipline, who will usually have passed a relevant specialty exam, e.g. MRCP, and commenced specialist training; however, more junior individuals who can demonstrate exceptional potential will also be considered. It is envisaged that the applicant will enrol for a PhD if they do not already have one.
This post is available for 3 years.
Closing date 16th June. See more here.
