Alison Barclay

BSc (Hons), PhD, MCSP

Alison Barclay, BSc (Hons), PhD, MCSP, works in a clinical academic role within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde as an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist and as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University. She has a specialist interest in spasticity management and rehabilitation of people with MS. She completed her PhD in 2024, which focused on the effects of lower limb active passive trainers on spasticity, cardiovascular fitness, function and quality of life in people with higher levels of disability from MS.
