Jeremy Isaacs

MA, PhD, MRCP

Jeremy Isaacs, MA, PhD, MRCP, is a Consultant Neurologist at St George's and Kingston Hospitals and National Clinical Director for Dementia and Older People's Mental Health at NHS England. He was Clinical Director of the NHS London Dementia Clinical Network from 2019-2024. He developed and led the first national memory service audit in England in 2019. He was a member of the NICE dementia guideline committee and chaired the NICE self-harm guideline committee. He is clinical lead for the multi-disciplinary Cognitive Neurology service at St George's Hospital which provides diagnosis, treatment and support for cognitive disorders, including young-onset and atypical dementias, and a support group for people living with Young Onset Dementia. He is Academic Director for Clinical Research and Honorary Reader in Neurology at City St George's, University of London. He developed and from 2023-25 co-directed the City St George's MSc in Clinical Neuroscience Practice. He has research interests in Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia and functional cognitive disorders.
