The first ever Neurological Rehabilitation Therapy & Technology Expo took place at ExCel London 12-13 June. A focused audience of more than 600 prominent rehabilitation professionals attended this interactive and comprehensive event for the European Elite Sports rehabilitation profession across the two days.

Among those visitors were many of high profile professionals working within neurological rehabilitation, including the CEO of Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital and senior figures from Great Ormond Street, Stoke Mandeville, and The Huntercombe Group, as well as owners of specialised neuro-rehab clinics.

Visitors were treated to a schedule of workshops and seminars alongside live demonstrations of innovative technology and techniques, as well as the industry’s foremost companies as exhibitors. Neurological Rehabilitation gave delegates the opportunity to experience exoskeletons, FES innovations and the use of videogame technology in rehabilitation. AlterG also chose the event as the location for the European launch of its bionic leg, giving visitors the chance to witness new technology in operation before anyone else.

Neurological Rehabilitation launched alongside the market-leading event, COPA Practice Growth, which has established itself as THE forum for the rehabilitation profession. Two additional complementary exhibitions also launched alongside COPA Practice Growth this year, with both Elite Sports Therapy and Animal Rehabilitation as successful as Neurological Rehabilitation. The complete medical rehabilitation suite of exhibitions brought in nearly 4,000 visitors in total.

Industry feedback for the event has been overwhelmingly positive:

Enjoyed Neuro Rehab 2014; lots of interesting rehabilitation technologies!”
Biosense Medical

Good conversations with people at Neuro Rehab about the exciting future.”
Phil Milner

Speaking for the event organisers, Prysm London’s Managing Director Tom Penn said, “I was delighted by both days at ExCeL – there was a constant buzz from the visitors and exhibitors alike from the moment Professor Francis Smith opened the show at 10am on the Thursday all the way through to 5pm on the Friday. Visitors found a fantastic line-up of business focused seminars alongside the A-Z of large and small suppliers to the industry. Our neurological rehabilitation focused therapists found themselves immersed in UK product launches as well as hearing from the thought-leaders in their professions. We look forward to delivering a large, wide-ranging exhibition for these visitors in 2015.”

With Neurological Rehabilitation now confirmed as an essential addition to COPA Practice Growth, The Prysm Group will further expand the event’s offering in 2015 with new events catering for the paediatric, geriatric, orthotic and orthopaedic sectors. Neurological Rehabilitation returns to ExCeL London on 11-12th June 2015. Book your free ticket online now at www.neurorehabexpo.co.uk
