Date: 13 Jan 2027 to 15 Jan 2027
28th Congress of the Medical-Scientific Advisory Board of the German Society for Muscle Diseases
Venue: Rosengartenplatz 2, Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, 68161
Website: www.dgm-kongress.de

Event Notes:
Neuromuscular medicine is in a period of profound development. Advances in basic research, innovative therapeutic approaches and new diagnostic possibilities change our understanding of neuromuscular diseases as well as everyday clinical life. At the same time, digitization is becoming increasingly important – be it in research, in clinical decision-making, in cross-sectoral care or in the networking of the actors involved.
This congress wants to give space for exchange, reflection and joint reflection. It brings together different perspectives: research, clinic and care, different neuromuscular disease entities as well as methodological and technological approaches. This is not only about new insights, but also about the question of how we can put them into practice responsibly, in a patient-centered and sustainable way.
The congress will also honour outstanding scientific achievements. The Duchenne Erb Prize will be awarded internationally, the Duchenne Heritage Prize nationally, the Felix Jerusalem Prize, the Junior Prize and the Myositis Young Research Prize.
The Rhein-Neckar-Region Heidelberg/Mannheim offers a suitable framework for this dialogue as a lively science and innovation location.
