Dr. Hector Caruncho is a neuropharmacologist with a background in comparative neuroanatomy. From fish neurobiology he moved to study the neuropharmacology of GABAA receptors and GABAergic systems in animal models of neuromotor disorders. For the past 25 years he’s been working on Reelin and mental disorders, and in the past decade on biomarkers of psychiatric and neurologic disorders.
