Event Notes:
We will have the 2026 IBRO-APRC-supported Associate School at the University of Tsukuba (UT) for 8 days, starting on September 26 and ending on October 3, 2026. After a guidance session and a welcome event on the first day, we will have a 5-day training course with lectures, luncheon seminars, and interactive sessions.
We will offer 4 lectures per day for 4 days on the three main themes of sleep, cognitive, and social behavioral neuroscience. In these lectures, we emphasize structural flow and coherence in each theme, as well as between themes. We will begin with an overview and basic lectures on research questions and deeply discuss up-to-date major findings that contribute to better understanding the lectures on clinical and applied research. On the last day of the 5-day training course, two special integrative lectures toward “human well-being” will be provided to wrap up the school agenda. Participants will then attend two international scientific events, both of which will take place on the UT campus on October 2 and 3.
In addition to the academic program, we will offer a number of social and cultural events.
