ENCODS 2026

Event Notes:

ENCODS 2026 will be taking place in Barcelona 4-5 July 2026, as a satellite event to the FENS Forum 2026 (6-10 July 2026, Barcelona, Spain). The meeting aims to empower early-career neuroscientists by offering guidance in how to  communicate their research effectively, provide  tools for modern research and explore strategies to succeed in a career in academia or beyond.

By attending ENCODS 2026, you will:

• Engage with keynote speakers who are experts in their field;
• Participate in workshops to build skills and confidence;
• Gain experience presenting and discussing your work;
• Expand your network within the international neuroscience community;
• Explore different approaches across neuroscience, from molecular to clinical research.

This year’s theme, “Brain in Context,” highlights how genetic, environmental, and internal factors shape brain function and development. The conference aims to bring together different perspectives, celebrate both differences and similarities in approaches, and encourage collaboration.

Attendees can look forward to two days of interactive sessions in Barcelona, being part of an inspiring space to explore what it means to study the brain within its many layers of context!
