Event Notes:

Leading MS care together: supporting nurses through transformative and challenging times

This one-day national education event brings together nurses working in the area of multiple sclerosis (MS) across Scotland – whether working in generalist or specialist roles – to explore the leadership, ethical and practical challenges facing the profession today. With an emphasis on real-world problem-solving and peer learning, the programme highlights key themes such as capacity and consent, safeguarding, domestic abuse, service coordination and nurse wellbeing.

Attendees will gain up-to-date legal, clinical and workforce insights to support safe, compassionate and consistent MS care, regardless of setting or resources.

The event is free to attend for all nurses from both generalist and specialist roles:
– MS specialist nurses
– Neuroscience specialist nurses with an MS caseload or an interest in developing one
– General, ward, district and community nurses
– Nurses with an interest in MS care

The day will include presentations, case discussions, national updates and opportunities to connect with peers, professional bodies and third-sector organisations.
