SABIF – Presentation on Heads Together, a funded project on ABI

Heads Together is a multi-university National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) funded project led by Prof Andrew Bateman (University of Essex) on Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) – particularly in relation to the knowledge and understanding of this by social workers.

The project explored this topic with social workers but also developed a range of educational resources on ABI which is relevant not just to them, but other professionals working with brain injured individuals and who would like to increase their understanding and know where to access further information and tools. 

A key aspect of the work was the group of Experts by Experience who came from a range of backgrounds and who were also able to contribute in different ways.
