Summer School on Multidisciplinary Management of Neuromuscular Diseases

We are excited to announce the second edition of the Summer School on Neuromuscular Diseases, co-organized by the European Reference Network for rare neuromuscular diseases (ERN EURO-NMD) and the French network of expertise on NMDs (FILNEMUS).

Topics

The program addresses key aspects of care extending beyond the neuromuscular sphere, including:

• Extramuscular involvement: cardiac, endocrinological, gastrointestinal, skin and respiratory systems
• Dysautonomia, central nervous system disorders and epilepsies
• Rehabilitation
• Palliative care
• Psychological impact of NMDs
• Management of relationships and sexuality
• Management of pregnancy

Target audience

This program is designed for individuals actively involved in the field of NMDs, including:

• MDs or medical students
• Physical therapists
• Other healthcare professionals involved in NMD care
• Researchers
• Patients and patient representatives

Important note: This course is NOT intended to provide basic teaching on neuromuscular diseases or their treatments.
