BRAIN has published landmark papers in clinical neurology and translational neuroscience since 1878. The Guarantors of Brain aim to promote teaching, education & research in neurology and related disciplines, and in 2021 announce a new venture to further fulfil this mission: The BRAIN Conference.
This two-day conference will feature a wide range of speakers from around the globe. A panel of neuroscientists and neurologists will curate and chair topic sessions featuring a mix of teaching talks and research presentations. The conference will cover a wide range of neuroscience disciplines, including epilepsy, neurodegeneration, cognition, neuroinflammation, nerve, headache, neuropsychiatry, movement disorders, stroke, infectious diseases, TBI, neurogenetics, muscle and COVID-19.
Whether you are a clinician or scientist, a student or senior faculty, working directly with patients or in the wet lab, this conference will have something for you. The conference will be composed of ‘Topic Sessions’, representing a broad range of neuroscience topics. Each ‘Topic Session’, carefully curated by the Chairs, will feature a clinical teaching talk, a translational research presentation and a basic science research presentation given by invited speakers. There will also be up to two ‘data blitz’ presentations per session from submitted abstracts.
The conference will take place online over 2 consecutive half-days on 4th and 5th of March. The first half-day will be ‘early’ (mid morning to mid afternoon) and the second half-day will be ‘late’ (early afternoon to evening). This will enable Brain to cover several time zones to engage a geographically diverse schedule of speakers and audience.
