Preview: 9th National Brain and Behaviour Conference

The 9th National Brain and Behaviour Conference offers a full day of neuropsychiatry‑focused learning, combining expert clinical updates with practical workshops and lived‑experience perspectives. Sessions cover functional cognitive disorder, assessing capacity in neurological conditions, emerging disease‑modifying treatments for Huntington’s disease, and the motor manifestations of psychiatric disorders. Afternoon workshops provide hands‑on guidance in managing non‑epileptic attack disorder, neuropsychiatric fatigue, Tourette syndrome, and the sleep–mental health interface. The programme concludes with insights from patient advocates, a panel discussion on designing care around real lives, and closing remarks from the conference chair Dr George El-Nimr.
