• Mailing List: If you have opted-in to our ACNR mailing list, we will collect and process your personal information to provide you with a subscription to ACNR as well as information about future publications, events, updates, key pieces of work etc.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years, plus the current accounting year, after you cease being customers for tax purposes.

Website data collection: We keep information for a year and then delete it.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information ACNR hold about you (we may charge £10 for information requests) to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

If you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with the following software 128 Bit encryption on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Google.

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. A cookie used to track user acceptance of the cookie policy. Expires after 30 days. An IP address is stored to recognise the user on a return visit.

Advanced Ads: Used by our ad serving software to check browser specifications.

PHPSESSID

The PHPSESSID cookie is native to PHP and enables our website to store serialised state data. On this website it is used to establish a user session and to pass state data via a temporary cookie, which is commonly referred to as a session cookie.

_ga, _gat, _gid

Google Analytics: used to track amount of visits, and the time of the visit and keeps track of returning visits. No personal information is stored in the cookie.

CONSENT, PREF, VISITOR_INFO_LIVE, YSC

Google YouTube: used by the website to store and show video content. These cookies are set by YouTube to track usage of its services. The YouTube Cookies are only installed when you press play.

Whitehouse Publishing is small independent publisher of ACNR (Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation) Journal and its supplement Neurodigest.
