Combined NHS Trust ¬- 7th National Brain and Behaviour Conference

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust are proud to launch the 7th national Brain and Behaviour conference. Research tells us that behavioural changes, resulting from brain damage, is one of the most significant factors in compromising community treatment.

The conference will look at how various brain disorders can bring about a distinct set of behavioural, cognitive and emotional changes. Delegates will explore the challenges around clinical management, ethical and medico-legal dilemmas and how those issues can, and perhaps should, shape our service developments. Our talks and workshops will pay special attention to the importance of ensuring that patients and families are always empowered to take the driving seat when individual care plans and service delivery are considered. You will hear from brilliant speakers such as Professor Roger Barker, Dr David Bailey, Dr Ken Barrett, Barrister – Mr Feery and many more.

The date of the conference is Thursday 29 February 2024 at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent.
