EAN Annual Congress goes virtual

In the interest of the health, safety and well-being of all registered attendees, our patients and families, as well as the general public, the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) has decided to cancel all in-person attendance and face-to-face activities at the Annual Congress, of May 23-26, 2020 in Paris. This decision has been taken due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic and in full support of public authorities in Europe and the World in their effort to slow the spread of the disease.

Difficult times ask for creative and courageous solutions which may also open new avenues for a better future. Accordingly, the EAN Board has decided to organise the 6th EAN Congress as Virtual Congress for May 23-26, 2020 and offer to the neurology community the possibility for education, scientific news and best practice exchange without leaving home.

The Corona pandemic is putting our society under an incredible health, emotional and economic burden. EAN has decided, with its industry partners, to make its contribution to mitigate the consequences of the pandemic in offering the on-line participation to the EAN Virtual Congress free-of-charge.

To register, please go to MyEAN and click “MyEAN Congress 2020” to register. Congress registration remains open until the last congress day, 26 May 2020.

The participants will be able to get CME points when attending sessions during the congress. As usual, they will have to evaluate the sessions afterwards in order to obtain your CME certificate.

All sessions will be available on-demand for EAN individual members  from 27 May onwards.
