Since its inception in 2018, this well-established course has been communicating the latest insights into young-onset dementia to attendees drawn from a wide range of clinical specialities.

The course offers updates on the latest diagnostic standards, best practices, and new developments in clinical care for this previously under-recognized patient group. As dementia research and treatment gain increasing attention, this course is more relevant than ever.

Chaired by Professor Peter Garrard, the event is tailored to meet the diverse needs of neurologists, psychiatrists, geriatricians, psychologists, and memory clinic teams. Last year’s addition of a themed Clinico-Pathological Conference was a hit, adding an exciting competitive element with one participant winning their course fee back!

This year, we have an exceptional faculty line-up, including Dr. Jeremy Isaacs, National Clinical Director for Dementia and Older People’s Mental Health.

The day will conclude with an expert panel discussion featuring unique cases that highlight diagnostic and management challenges. We warmly invite you to join us on 23 April 2025 for what promises, once again, to be an informative and engaging learning experience.

Certification

Delegates will be issued with a certificate of attendance and CPD will be sought from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

Past students have said…

“Well delivered and very informative. I found the patient journey powerful and informative. Overall, I am more informed than when I started the event, which is always a win. I left the whole event feeling inspired and wanting to develop a more robust and supportive pathway and model for our young onset dementia patients.”

“The course was excellent! Engaging and interactive with interesting and extremely impressive presentations. Expertise shown all through out. I would definitely be looking forward to next one and highly recommend.”

“Brilliantly engaging lecturing style. Excellent breadth of cases. Very well presented and helpful talk. Courses like this always provoke learning or thinking about topics from a different perspective and that is very valuable particularly if you’ve been practising for a while and might be a bit set in your ways.”

“Good combination of talks, representing whole pathway from diagnosis to care home.”
