Neuro Rehabilitation Stream
A focused stream looking at hands on therapy rehab and the equipment used in these areas. Covering neurological conditions such as Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, MS, PD, and Head Injuries. Evidence based sessions will consider the latest research and interventions within these patient groups and how therapy input can aid rehab and recovery. Jon Graham from the PhysioFunction team will lead a comparative review of upper limb technology for stroke rehabilitation, and Professor Tom Mercer from the University of Edinburgh will be discussing exercise training in MS & the important of fatigue.
