Alder Hey Paediatric Vestibular Course

The Alder Hey Academy has announced the 5th Alder Hey Paediatric Vestibular Course which has established a benchmark to disseminate knowledge and training in this complex, challenging displine that is largely unknown.
The dates are 16th and 17th of October 2023 at the Alder Hey Academy.
Everything from A to Z of paediatric vestibular medicine is covered from development, anatomy, physiology, assessment, diagnosis, aetiology, management to radiology, rehabilitation and genetics. Very importantly, there will be hands on workshops for clinical assessment, laboratory assessment with vHIT, VEMPs, SHIMP, OCR and cTSIB, rehab, virtual reality, clinical cases and very importantly on central eye movements. And as an added stimulation, paediatricians from different sub specialities from general and community paediatrics to neurology, oncology, endocrinology and ENT will hold a symposium to discuss their takes on dizziness and children.
Sharon Cushing from Toronto Sick Kids, Jennifer Christy from University of Alabama and Marco Mandala from University of Siena are the international faculty in addition to a national faculty, which includes , .
