Venue: Webinar

Website: www.zoom.com

Event Notes:

Adult Neurology – This webinar will provide an overview on how to approach adult patients complaining about headache in daily clinical practice. It will give an overview on how to distinguish primary from secondary headaches and how to make the diagnosis of the most common primary headaches migraine, tension-type headache and trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias. Finally, we will focus on the key treatment pillars with an update on recent advances for acute and prophylactic therapy.

Paediatric Neurology – As paediatric neurologists involved in the care of children with headaches we have the aim to identify whom and when to treat, what to use depending on etiology, taking into consideration both pharmacological and non-pharmacological available interventions. Medical and surgical emergencies have to be identified and treated correctly. Together with the adult neurology colleague, we are going to propose a practical approach, including some clinical cases.
