To consider the nature and possible presentation of anticipatory grief in people affected by MND, and ways to support them.

Objective

• To support HSCPs to recognise and respond effectively to presentations of anticipatory grief.

By the end of the session participants will have:
• A clearer understanding of what we mean by ‘anticipatory grief’
• A more confidence to identify when people are experiencing anticipatory grief
• An improved understanding of potential ways to support people affected by MND who are experiencing anticipatory grief
