The Postgraduate Certificate in Sleep Medicine, delivered by UWE Bristol, is an intensive 1-year programme covering all aspects of the theory and practice of sleep medicine across all sleep disorders.

Fully funded by NHS England, the course is currently open to individuals working in healthcare roles within NHS England, offering fast-track upskilling in sleep medicine via a hybrid teaching and learning model, including on-campus block weeks, weekly online sessions and workplace-based assessment, which are undertaken alongside your existing clinical work. Students will undertake the workplace-based components of the course in their own service wherever possible. However, candidates can arrange a placement at a partner institution where specific tests and procedures are not available locally.
