The BNPA 2024 Annual Meeting

The 2024 British Neuropsychiatry Association Annual Meeting and Conference will take place on Thursday 14th March and Friday 15th March at the Royal College of Physicians, London.

The conference will focus on the impact of environment and context on neuropsychiatry. Topics include the effects of deprivation in early years on neuropsychiatric disease, the difference in presentation of neuropsychiatric diseases in different cultures and resource-poor environments, the shift between psychiatry and neurology, and the complexities of determining the cause of certain psychiatric symptoms. The conference will also explore how our immediate surroundings, such as social media interactions, can influence our self-perception and develop conditions like depression. and how artificial intelligence can be used to improve the diagnostic process and address biases in the diagnostic pathway.
