The British Neurosurgical Research Group Meeting 2024

Venue: Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford, UK - Formerly Jurys Inn

Event Notes:

We would like to invite you to the 2024 annual meeting of the British Neurosurgical Research Group (BNRG), which will be jointly hosted by the Academic Committee of the SBNS and the local organisers at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. This event is hosted by Aesculap Academia.

The BNRG are a group of clinicians, scientists, nurses and healthcare professionals who are interested in all aspects of neurosurgical research. The BNRG has historically been a forum for the presentation and discussion of ‘in-progress’ investigations and new study concepts.

The future of Neurosurgery depends on ambitious but pragmatic innovation. This ranges from translating wet- and dry-lab research, to medical devices and technologies that are directly patient-facing and support neurosurgical management. BNRG aims to discuss and debate how to evaluate the benefits of these technologies, the direction of such research, and the collaborative way that we can work together in a relatively small specialty for patient benefit.

The organising committee especially encourages abstract submissions from future research leaders and innovators. Delegates will hear from innovators who have experience of bringing technology and digital solutions into practice.

Dinner is included in your registration fee, simply confirm your attendance in the booking form.

A discounted rate has been negotiated with the Leonardo Royal Hotel.

Delegates will need to book the rooms directly through the Leonardo website using the code: LHAESC271124.

The code is only valid for the evening of 07.11.24 and the code needs to be entered into the ‘Add Promo or Group Code’ tab before searching for the rooms.

Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the organising committee.

The BNRG welcomes free papers in both oral and poster format.
