Elizabeth A McCusker , is a Senior Staff Specialist in the Neurology Dept. of Sydney’s Westmead Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor, Sydney Medical School, Sydney University. Involved with Huntington Disease care and clinical research for 30 years, she established and was Director of a comprehensive service of HD care that includes predictive testing, clinical research and service with multidisciplinary outreach and an inpatient assessment and chronic care unit. Dr McCusker has participated in many of the multisite International research initiatives of observational and treatment trials, that include the Huntington Study group, PREDICT HD, COHORT, 2-CARE, and ENROLL HD. She has a particular interest in care provision in neurodegenerative disease and the ethical challenges encountered in inherited disease with cognitive impairment.
